Rose has a universally balancing action on absolutely all skin. It is nourishing, softening, hydrating, cooling and balancing.

Known as Shatapatri in Sanskrit and Gulab in Hindi, the hydrosol of rose petal has been in use for thousands of years. It is the twelve-petaled lotus, compassion, a symbol of unconditional love, and empathy. It has been said that rose has the highest vibration, and is the most evolved plant, in the botanical world.

What’s that in my Sonoma Rose Petal HydroSoul? You might notice distillate matter floating in our Sonoma Rose Petal HydroSoul. It’s simply fine plant material that had evaporated during the distillation and has subsequently condensed into particles. Shake it up and it will dissolve.

How to Use

Mist face with 5-10 sprays of hydrosol & press onto skin. Facial tonic hydrosols can be used throughout the day to tone, hydrate & refresh.
As a gentle morning cleanser, simply saturate skin & pat dry with a clean cloth.
For optimal hydration & moisture, combine with one of our oil serums and/or moisturizers. Mist face with 5-10 sprays of hydrosol. In palms of hands, mix dime-sized amount of oil serum and/or a finger-full of moisturizer with 5-10 more sprays of hydrosol. Gently press mixture onto skin. Finishing with a misting of hydrosol.

    Good for Rosacea

    If you have rosacea, then you know all about the redness, dryness & sensitivity— basically fragile skin. I did my research & this is the rose that can really help with that.

    I tried the Geranium hydrosol first but did not notice any results. The Sonoma Rose is the ticket & pairs nicely with the Trinity Rose oil serum. Give it a try, hope it helps you too.

    Not Rose-y

    I have ordered rose petal hydrosoul for many many years with great satisfaction and was excited to receive this one when my previous one finally ran out, but sadly these first few squirts don’t have the rose smell that previous batches had. It just smells

    like alcohol or witchhazel :( The rose smell is what makes this product so lovely to use. Maybe this was just a bad batch? I use this spray to combat the dry winters in Wisconsin.

    THEE best rose water product

    Love the fragrance. I use it a few times just to feel refreshed and also mix it in my palm with my moisturizer then apply all over face and neck.

    Refreshingly Rosy

    I've tried other HydroSouls, such the Rose Geranium and Frankincense, but this one is probably my new favorite. The rose scent is beautiful and perfect for those that like floral scents. It also seems to have bits of rose in the HydroSoul which I love. Just like with other HydroSouls, it refreshes the skin and completes any morning/night skincare routine.
