This olive-amber colored oil is earthy and deep, smoky and tenacious with hints of rose and warm spice. In its essence, it is the scent of ancient, precious woods: subtle and quieting, cooling, relaxing, expansive and grounding. Indian poets referred to vetiver scent as “the smell of the first monsoon shower on parched soil” and “the perfume of a rejuvenated earth."

This scent is exactly what you're looking for in a vetiver perfume. Similar to others' experience, it is a bit of a sticky oil but a little goes a long way and it absorbs into my skin quickly. It lasts the longest out of any of the EH perfumes, with the exception of Patchouli. It is very earthy and grounding, but if you like a fresher vetiver scent, stick with an off the shelf EO. This one has a very deep scent profile. Love it!

I love Vetiver. I first tried the Vetiver Hinoki Perfume, but it didn’t have enough scent for me, so I tried the Vetiver. I like it but it seems thick and sticky. I don’t know if you’ve gotten other replies like this, but I feel like the composition should be tweaked a little bit.
