Tea Tree Gel Cleanser, with the fresh herbal extracts of geranium, lavender, and sea buckthorn is a non-detergent gel ideal for deep cleansing skin without stripping protective oils. Developed for impure skin, it is also an effective choice for those who simply prefer a lightly lathering cleansing gel. With the clean and herbaceous fragrance of steam-distilled essential oils of tea tree, lavender and lavandin, it also makes a great shower gel.
What is the purpose of a cleanser? (A deceptively simple question.) A cleanser’s purpose is to mix with and dissolve excess sebum, refine skin texture, ‘lift’ metabolic impurities from tiny dermal pores, and provide a balanced condition for moisturizing. Cleansing should be done twice a day – first thing in the morning and before going to bed. Make-up and sun block should always be removed in the evening.
BLEMISH TREATMENT PROTOCOL
Tea Tree Gel is the first step in our Blemish Treatment Protocol. Follow with a generous misting of our sweet, refreshing Lemon Thyme Facial Tonic Hydrosol with its gentle hydrating properties. Pomegranate Serum with Sea Buckthorn oil has a visible effect on impure skin, minimizing the appearance of scars and balancing excess oil. Our Blemish Serum is an effective spot treatment to help purify without irritating sensitive skin. Our Green Tea Clay Mask actively draws pimples and blackheads to the surface, deeply cleanses, and minimizes the appearance of pores leaving skin clean and clear.
How to Use
- Splash face with warm water
- Pump a small amount of cleanser into the palm of your hand
- Dribble a little water to mix
- Massage into face and neck working in an upward and outward circular motion
- Rinse with warm water and pat dry, follow with Facial Tonic and one of our Oil Serums and/or Day Moisturizer.
Additional ways to use our cleanser
- Combine together Cleansing Milk + Tea Tree Gel:
In palm of hand, combine one pump of Cleansing Milk and one pump of Tea Tree Gel Cleanser
Add dribbles of warm water. This will create a creamy gel appropriate for skin that is both oily/congested and sensitive.
- Add Clay Mask Treatment to Gel Cleanser:
In palm of hand, add a half teaspoon of Green Tea or French Rose Clay to our Gel Cleanser.
Add dribbles of warm water. This soft exfoliating scrub will remove dry skin cells and draw toxins from pores revealing a cleaner, clearer complexion.

Tea Tree Gel/ Blemish Kit
I just have to tell you that your products changed my life, and I'm not being dramatic! 2 1/2 years ago after my second son was born my skin went crazy, I developed severe painful acne. With each month it got worse and it hurt and it was so embarassing...I had never had acne before and it was awful. I spent months using a multitude of AHA's and BHA's and Benzoyl Peroxide and nothing really helped. Dear Evan, So I wrote you a desperate email a while back agonizing for a change and eager to alleviate the acne plague that was scarring my face. I asked for advice and sent you a picture of products that I'd used and was currently using. I'm writing now to say THANK YOU! My skin is so much happier! Thank you for taking the time to consider my particular case and to give me tailored advice. Thank you for creating such an uplifted and uplifting line of products. You had recommended a make-up change as well and now I use Jane Iredale's stuff and I love it. I use your Tea Tree Gel and Orange hydrosol daily as well as the Geranium Rose (my true favorite). I rarely need the blemish treatment anymore but when I do it's there and it works beautifully. I learned from you that pure oils are better moisturizers than the chemical laden products with unintelligible ingredient lists I'd been using previously. After some experimentation I've found that simple evening primrose oil mixed with your hydrosols work best as a moisturizer. Though it does take a while to absorb. Anyway, I just wanted to express gratitude. I'm all natural and neutrogena free and I'm singing your praises to all who will listen. My Mother is a rosacea sufferer and I'm going to send her your blue line travel kit as a gift (as soon as I recover from Christmas).
